THE SUFFICIENCY OF HIS PROMISES
“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” (2 Corinthians 1:20 KJV)
Scriptures declare so eloquently that God is not a man that He should lie. We see God boasting about what He would do for the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. In fact, God swore that He would bless Abraham, and that He would not lie to David.
The reason God cannot go back on His Word is simple – God and His Word are one and the same (John 1:1 KJV). Going back on His Word translates to God denying Himself. Man’s integrity may be tied to dependency on material acquisitions and attained positions. However, for God, His integrity is tied to what Has gone out of His lips.
In the banking system, it is a requirement that you declare a collateral before you can qualify for a loan. In the same vein, as a child of God, God’s promise stands as a sure collateral when you act in faith. You can make withdrawals out of life because God has got you covered.

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.
Confession
I am a great reflection of God’s promises. His promises are sure and more than enough, in Jesus’ Name.
Prophetic Prayers
- I prophesy that God’s amazing promises to the generations before me because of their spiritual labour works for me in my lifetime, in Jesus’ Name.
- I declare that every one of God’s promises to His children will not elude me and my household, in Jesus’ Name.
- I decree that my life is made easier, and my path is made clearer on account of God’s Word, in Jesus’ Name.
