WHOSE VOICE DO YOU HEAR?

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” (John 10:27 KJV)

In a world filled with countless voices of doubt, fear, and distraction, knowing whose voice we are listening to is crucial. The voice we heed shapes our decisions, influences our emotions, and determines our path. God desires that we hear and follow His voice, the voice of truth, love, and guidance. Yet, amidst the noise, discerning His voice can be challenging.

God’s voice often comes with peace, even when it challenges us. It is gentle yet firm, leading us in paths of righteousness. It calls us to trust when everything else seems uncertain, to have faith when fear is louder, and to keep moving forward when the way is unclear. Unlike the enemy, who speaks lies and accusations, God’s voice affirms our identity as His children and reminds us of His unfailing promises.

The more time we spend in God’s Word and presence, the more familiar His voice becomes. It takes intentional quietness and a heart willing to listen. When we tune our hearts to Him, we can distinguish His voice from others that seek to pull us away from His will. Let us cultivate a habit of listening to God’s voice, allowing His Word to guide, comfort, and lead us into His perfect plan.

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
