THE PROMISE

“Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.” (Hebrews 6:14 KJV)

This  is a declaration of God’s intention to bless and multiply His people. It speaks to the heart of divine promise, offering reassurance that God is committed to providing abundantly for those who trust in Him. The word “surely” signifies that no matter what becomes of tomorrow, we can know this as a certainty.

In this passage, we see a profound assurance that God desires to bless us. The repetition of the words “bless” and “multiply” emphasize the certainty and magnitude of His promises. It’s not merely about receiving a small favour; it’s about an exponential increase in blessings. This can manifest in various forms: be it in our spiritual lives, our relationships, or even our material needs. When we embrace this promise, we open ourselves to the possibilities of growth and abundance that God has in store for us, reminding us that He is intimately aware of our circumstances and is eager to provide for us.

Life can often feel uncertain, and challenges may arise that test our faith. However, today be assured that God’s desire and promises are written in stone. Be encouraged to hold on to hope. As we hold this promise in our hearts, we can be confident that with God, there is always potential for more—more love, more joy, and more blessings than we can imagine.
