RELYING ON THE POWER OF FERVENT PRAYER

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 KJV)

Fervent prayer is more than just regular prayer; it is a passionate, sincere, and heartfelt conversation with God. This type of prayer taps into God’s power and brings about significant change. Reflect on your prayer life and consider how you can deepen your sincerity and passion in your prayers. The prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Jesus teaches us the importance of persistence in prayer through the parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-7). Fervent prayer involves consistently bringing our requests to God, trusting that He will respond in His perfect timing. Reflect on areas where you may have given up in prayer. Commit to praying persistently, believing that God is at work even when you cannot see immediate results.

Faith is a crucial component of fervent prayer. When we pray, we must believe that God is able to do what we ask according to His will. Reflect on your level of faith when you pray. Do you truly believe that God can and will answer your prayers? Ask God to increase your faith and help you pray with unwavering belief. “Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24 NIV).  This year, you shall experience mind blowing miracles through fervent prayers, in Jesus’ Name.
