LOVING IS LIVING
“If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. (John 13:14-15 KJV)
Loving is living. This implies that if you are not living with love, then you are not truly living. The physical sojourn of Jesus Christ on the earth made the most significant impression on all of humanity because He lived with love both in person and in action.
Love is more than just a feeling, a thought or a concept. Love is an action word. It does not step away when people are hurting or in need but steps into the mess to be a part of the solution. The love of God has been shed abroad in the heart of every Christian, and as we can see in the beginning scripture, this kind of love is transferable.
You cannot claim to love God and not love other people because every human being is an extension of God. Love does not draw lines to keep people away with discrimination or prejudice. It doesn’t matter who you are or what title you carry, if your love is not all-embracing or characterized by compassion, kindness and generosity, then that love is not genuine. Express love like a true child of God today and always.
