LIVING WITH GRATITUDE

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonian 5:18 KJV)

Every day is filled with blessings from God, both big and small. Taking time to recognize and remember these blessings helps cultivate a heart of gratitude. Reflect on your day and identify specific blessings you might have overlooked. Thank God for each one and make a habit of noting His daily benefits. Psalm 103:2 says, “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”

Gratitude isn’t just for the good times; it is a practice that should extend to all circumstances. Even in trials, there are reasons to be thankful. Reflect on a challenging situation in your life and seek to find something to be grateful for within it. Trust that God is working for your good, even in difficulty.

Living with gratitude involves expressing thanks not only to God but also to those around us. Acknowledging others’ contributions and kindness fosters a spirit of community and appreciation. Reflect on people in your life who have blessed you. Take time to thank them and let them know how much they mean to you. “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” (Colossians 3:15 NIV). The remaining days of this year, the heart of gratitude will unlock closed doors for you and your family,  in Jesus’ Name.
