HONOUR YOUR SPIRITUAL HEADS
“Welcome him in the Lord’s love and with great joy, and give him the honor that people like him deserve.” (Philippians 2:29 NLT)
God has appointed leaders over His church for various spiritual and administrative purposes. Leaders in authority are to be honoured because they are placed in such positions by God. Just as the scripture admonishes us to honour our earthly parents, spiritual leaders deserve all due respect in accordance to the will of God.
To honour your spiritual leader is to obey their instructions and follow their spiritual guidance, pray and intercede for them, minister to their needs, support them in achieving mission goals and objectives and showing loyalty in the face of challenges. God never forgets our commitment towards easing the affairs of our spiritual heads. Being instrumental in the life of your spiritual gifts attracts the instrumentality of God in your own life.
In honouring your spiritual leaders you honour God. The rewards that follow like divine provision from God, victory over enemies, spiritual covering, and miracles are not things money can buy. You experience the blessings of God over your local church when you honour your spiritual heads. Honour your spiritual parents.

Confession
I am a practitioner of God’s Word. I will not miss out on the blessing of honouring my spiritual leaders, in Jesus’ Name.
Prophetic Prayers
- I declare that my Pastor and His family will continue to increase and enjoy God’s grace, in Jesus’ Name.
- I declare that the labour of my spiritual leaders will continually yield evident and abundant results in my life, in Jesus’ Name.
- I declare that no weapon that is fashioned against my spiritual leaders will prosper, in Jesus’ Name.
