GOD’S REFINING FIRE
“And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.” (Malachi 3:3 KJV)
The process of refining precious metals like gold and silver requires intense heat. This fire burns away impurities, leaving behind only the purest form of the metal. Similarly, God refines us through life’s challenges and trials, using His holy fire to burn away sin, pride, and any hindrance that prevent us from becoming the people He created us to be.
In the midst of difficulty, it is easy to question God’s love or His presence. But just as a refiner carefully watches over the fire, God is closely overseeing our lives, ensuring we are not consumed by the flames. His purpose is not to harm us but to shape us into vessels of honour, worthy of His calling.
As we trust Him through the refining process, our faith is strengthened, and we come out more radiant, like gold purified by fire. Whatever you are going through today, remember that God is with you in the fire, moulding you into a reflection of His glory.

Confession
I am being refined by God’s loving hand. Though I may face trials, I trust that He is purifying my heart, strengthening my faith, and shaping me for His purpose, in Jesus’ Name.
