CONTINUE TO PRAISE GOD
“Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgements” (Psalm 119:164 KJV)
It was recorded that seven times a day David would praise the Lord and three times he would pray. Why will David choose to praise God much more than he prayed? He did so because he knew that your praise may not be perfect when it leaves your lips but its is perfect when it enters into God’s ears. You may not sing according to the beat or dance out of tune but it becomes perfect when it enters into God’s ear (Matthew 21:15-16).
When you praise, you are making God bigger than your situation. God inhabits the praises of His children. God comes to dwell in the midst of praise, anytime you praise God you are declaring the wonders and power of God. Satan fears praise more than he fears prayers. He will rather allow you to pray than praise God because he knows that you can pray wrongly but you can not genuinely praise God wrongly.
David was thanking God for what He has done in the past. If you can praise God even when you don’t feel Him moving or doing anything. It’s proof that you know God. If you can sing in the midst of troubles and trials, it’s proof that you know Him. If you don’t stop praising Godim, He will not stop raising you.
