ABIDING IN CHRIST

“If  ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15:7 KJV)

This scripture speaks of a life of intimacy with Christ. It invites us into having a deep relationship with Jesus, emphasizing the importance of staying connected to Him. It paints a picture of mutual indwelling, where our thoughts and desires become intertwined with His teachings. This connection is not just a casual acquaintance; it’s a vibrant, life-giving bond that transforms how we live.

When we truly abide in Christ, His words shape our hearts and mind: it’s about allowing His teachings to influence our desires. As we spend time in His presence—through prayer, studying and meditating on scripture, we begin to align our wishes with His will. It is a beautiful exchange where our hopes and dreams are refined and directed by His wisdom. The promise that “whatever you wish will be granted”highlights the power of this relationship, reminding us that our requests become reflections of His intentions when we remain rooted in Him.

His Word reassures us that when we prioritize this connection, our prayers are not just heard but answered in ways that align with His purposes. Today, be encouraged to  deepen your  faith and trust, knowing the journey of abiding leads to a fruitful life, marked by joy and purpose, reminding us that with Christ, all things are possible.
