THE POWER OF GOD IN ME
“But you shall receive power, after that the Holyghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 KJV)
There are so many good things that have been deposited in us in Christ Jesus and one of them is the Holy Spirit. Nothing can be better than the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is in me. The above scripture tells us that you shall be a living proof of Jesus Christ everywhere you go. The Spirit of God lives in you.
Romans 8:11 makes us know that the Holy Spirit is in you to make alive every dead cell, tissue, or defective organ in your body. If the Holy Spirit is in you, there is no way your cells can remain dead. If you know Who is in you, you will chase out every trace of sickness. When the Holy Spirit comes into you at salvation, He releases power, which is the dynamic ability to effect a changes in your life. Power is the dynamic ability to move and shift things in your favour and that’s what the Holy Spirit brings.
The question is why do you believe that you are powerless and that you need power? Don’t go looking for power when you have the Holy Spirit in you. You don’t beg the devil, you tell him who is in charge. The devil has lied to many Christians for such a long time that it makes them feel that they are powerless. You pray to stir the power and not to get power. What you receive after the Holy Spirit comes upon you is the dynamic power of God for positive changes. Hallelujah.
