GOD’S WORKING COVENANT
“My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” (Psalm 89:34 KJV)
In the opening scripture, God made it crystal clear that He places supreme importance on covenant. When a man goes into a covenant with God, it is certain that the covenant will see the light of day. The only obstacle to the manifestation of a covenant with God can only come from your disobedience to the terms of the covenant, as God will not fail at His own end.
It is important for you to know that your identity changes when you enter into a covenant with God. This means that you are able to do or achieve all that is possible to God, because the covenant fuses you and God as one. When God made a promise to David that He will establish His kingdom through one of his sons, He rightly fulfilled this promise through David’s son, Solomon.
Lack of capacity to do something is what could make an aforementioned promise not come to fruition. However, we serve a God who does not have impossibility in His records. God will never fail because His capacity to back up His Word is limitless.
