SHARING GOD’S WORD
“As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.” (Proverbs 25:25 KJV)
The Bible says that a man cannot believe the gospel unless he hears it, and he cannot hear it unless it is preached to him. It is the responsibility of all believers, not just the evangelism or outreach department of your local church, to ensure that the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ is passed to the world.
The challenge with many Christians is that they find excuses for not doing their duty as Children of God. We have people who attend church, study their Bibles, pray in their homes but claim work and family responsibilities hinder them from evangelising. Never forget that the salvation of lost souls and the hope of the downtrodden lie in knowing and fully accepting the sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Always utilize every opportunity you have to act as a witness of Christ whether in your private or public interactions with other people. Scriptures describe the feet of those who bring good news as beautiful. Your beauty as a Christian is demonstrated in how far you are willing to go in ensuring that you preach the good news to unbelievers. Christ has ordained you His witness. Be an effective witness for God!
