BECOMING A PERSON OF VALUE
“And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” (Proverbs 24:4 KJV)
Becoming a person of value starts with identifying the gaps that exist in your life. It is often said that necessity is the mother of invention. However, evaluation is the mother of improvement and evaluated experience is a great teacher. The secret to success in life is not the search for solutions but the search for questions. The questions about where you are, where you ought to be and what you are lacking that is required to take you there, are very important if you are aiming at success in life.
People refuse to ask questions because they don’t want to be confronted with the stark reality of life. The sad reality is that the questions you refuse to ask yourself early in life will be asked by those whose lives should have been impacted by the value you should have given. Child of God, you are an active participant in the equation of success or failure of your life. This means that you have to take responsibility for your life and stop allowing people to control the steering wheel of your life.
Success in life is not meant to be pursued, but to be attracted. Every human being is a living magnet; you cannot therefore attract something bigger than you. The kind of value you bring or can offer will determine the kind of rewards or compensation that will come to you. In life, there will always be problems and those who will succeed will be the ones that have answers or solutions to those problems. In other words, problems are your opportunities for promotion. Become a person of value!
