PURSUING EXCELLENCE FOR GOD’S GLORY
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” (Colossians 3:17 KJV)
Excellence in living begins with the understanding that everything you do is an act of worship to God. Whether in your work, relationships, or daily habits, you are called to reflect God’s glory. Excellence is not about perfection but about giving your best with a heart of gratitude and service.
True excellence is built on a foundation of wisdom. It is not just about outward success but making choices that reflect godly wisdom and discernment. Excellence requires seeking God’s perspective in every decision, knowing that wisdom from Him brings life and peace. As you pursue excellence, ask God to fill you with His wisdom so that your life will reflect His character in every area.
Daniel was known for having a spirit of excellence. His diligence, integrity, and faithfulness set him apart, even in a foreign land. Excellence is not just about what you do but who you are. It’s about embodying values such as integrity, responsibility, and commitment. Like Daniel, seek to cultivate a spirit of excellence in every area of your life, knowing that it brings honour to God and opens doors for greater influence (Daniel 6:3).
